Founded in 2009 by CEO Kent Salveson, ClearSun Power offers high-income individuals unique investment opportunities designed to maximize profits through tax credits across multiple asset classes, with an emphasis on renewable energy. Our projects provide valuable tax benefits, including credits, depreciation deductions, and expense write-offs, all tailored to help reduce taxable income.

Our Projects
Investment opportunities include renewable energy, R&D, Opportunity Zones, film finance, and estate and gift tax planning. We constructed a solar energy facility in Tennessee where the electricity generated produces green hydrogen—a clean, CO2-free fuel source for powering fuel cells. Our renewable energy efforts also include storage solutions, backup power systems using fuel cells, and hydrogen dispensing infrastructure. Additionally, we’re actively researching and developing more efficient ways to produce renewable hydrogen as a fuel and energy source. This approach addresses emerging energy needs while offering investors tax incentives linked to these innovative energy solutions.
ClearSun offers investment opportunities in feature film production, such as recent films like Bandit with Mel Gibson. Investors in this asset class can benefit from tax incentives, including depreciation and tax credits, creating a diverse investment portfolio combining financial benefits and cultural contributions.
By investing in government-designated Opportunity Zones, we offer investors the opportunity to defer capital gains taxes and potentially benefit from tax-exempt profits on investments within these zones. Opportunity zones are areas defined by HUD where median income falls below 25% of the statewide average, creating incentives for capital investment in underserved areas.
