Kent Salveson, Attorney at Law, LLM (Taxation), Chief Executive Officer

Kent earned his LL.M. and a separate certification in Estate and Gift Tax from Boston University. He has over four decades of experience as an attorney practicing law, as a contractor engaged in construction activities, and as a real estate broker. He has a strong background in tax and finance, with a specialized focus on the application of tax incentives and tax equity.

His legal practice integrates construction with code compliant tax incentives allocated to low-income housing tax credits, renewable energy tax incentives, estate and gift tax planning, research and development tax credits, Opportunity Zone investments, and tax compliance for state-incentivized feature films.

Previously, he served as Senior Vice President at Metmor Finance, part of Metropolitan Life Insurance, where he originated and funded multimillion-dollar commercial real estate loans, and as founder of EEXCEL Communities which developed over 4,000 affordable housing units incentivized by low income housing tax credits, with his EEXCEL Program earning national recognition and being featured in It Takes a Village.

He holds a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Southern California and a J.D. from the University of La Verne.
